I love this place! I am in OOB for 9 or 10 straight weeks every summer. It's hard to go to the pier without stopping by for a slice of something different. I have tried it all: Pear and blue cheese, buffalo chicken, white with garlic and spinach... If you are looking for you average everyday slice go ahead and stay down by the beach, but if you are looking for something more satisfying or would like to try something new on your pizza it's worth the few extra steps up the hill to Roma Pizza. 2 years ago I waited the whole summer to try the Nutella pizza which I enjoyed with a couple of girl friends for our combined birthday. It was amazing! He even made it in the shape of a heart in honor of our bdays. The shop is tiny with very limited seating. It is clean, but the pizza oven keeps it hot. There is a table or 2 out front where you can do some people watching and hopefully catch a breeze. The price is right, no more expensive than any other pizza place on the street. You better believe I'll be back in the summer.

We came in with three adults and four kids at 9:30 pm and got amazing food and service. It was great New York style pizza and it was brought out very quickly! We had cheese pizza and some salads. The only improvement I could see would be to make some homemade salad dressings.

WIN- Thin crust. Not too saucy. Perfect toppings. Awesome flavor. I love pizza. No matter where we are my boyfriend and I always get pizza for a "pizza night" dinner. We did a little research and found this place right in OOB. We put in our order and waited outside at the outdoor seating to do some people watching. Once the pizza was ready the owner brought it out to us so we could enjoy. This pizza is probably some of the best I have had, if it was a little bit crispier on the crust I would give it a 10/10. Overall i gave it an 8/10 on my pizza scale. Go give this place a try- you won't be disappointed! Go for the whole pizza rather than by the slice- its a better deal and it's made to your liking :) who doesn't like leftover pizza anyway?

Just a tourist trap joint with no beach theme nor atmosphere...pizza is pizza. With many pizza places in town it comes down to what the kids want...fried dough,French fries, and what the parents want....short lines

Was hoping for better. The owner is nice, even speaks Italian, born and raised there but the pizza was average. Crust was good, thin, right amount of chew; it comes down missing the mark on herbs & spices.

A little slice of Italy right in the heart of Kennebunkport! My boyfriend and I were looking for a non-touristy lunch spot late Saturday afternoon, and stumbled upon Roma Pizza. We thought we were settling for pizza. We were so wrong. We split a Chicken Parm sub, and it was absolutely delicious. Not fried, overflowing with cheese and homemade sauce. We talked about how great it was the rest of the day. Really. From someone who has lived in Italy, this was simply, the best, and such a treat. I've never had better anywhere in New England. Vai! A presto!

Step away from the Pier ! I've been coming to OOB for years, and had totally missed this place for 5 years - MY BAD. Instead of the standard thin, wet-paper-plate-like crust of the other offerings, near the pier that sag and droop - Roma's pizza is great. Great crust, with just the right thickness and bite, and great toppings. I had the "All Dress", which is basically a supreme. Very good, as agreed by our party of 3 people. This will be my only pizza destination now on OOB. By the slice or by the pie - this is the place. And they actually have tables for indoor seating. Most pizza offerings in OOB don't. No liquor license, so just a great selection of sodas/waters - but don't let a beer stop you from good eats.

This is definitely the best pizza in OOB, which really isn't saying much. I think the specialty slices, including the various white pizzas, are better than the traditional red pie slices. They skimp on the cheese, which for this style of pizza is a downer. But overall, pretty decent and everything always seems fresh. Certainly better than the alternatives in the heart of OOB.

If Pizza was a religion, Roma is J.C. Seriously, you won't regret coming here. The pizza is fresh, delicious, and the owner is such a sweet man. My favorite is the pistachio with fresh mozzarella laid on top, but if that scares you, there's the more typical pizza's as well. Skip on Bills--get some pier fries--and eat some of this true pizza.

In a place where a different pizza shop is on every corner, its hard to stand out. This pizza place does. Unlike most pizza shops on OOB, this place is know for their specialty pizzas. On a Saturday morning I was walking the strip in search of breakfast, I saw Buffalo Chicken pizza on the menu at Romas and had to have it! but they were closed. :( I continued to walk the strip and couldn't find anything else to fill that craving for buffalo chicken pizza. Now toward 11o'clock, lunch places are opening. My patient boyfriend and I walked back towards Romas and sure enough they were just opening. The guy had one fresh cheese pizza ready to be served by the slice. But I only wanted buffalo chicken. Could you make a buffalo chicken slice I asked. He looked back and the counter and said SURE! but only enough chicken for one slice. He cut up a chicken cutlet that was left over from yesterday and squirted the slice with buffalo and in the oven it went. When I got the slice it hit the craving and was delicious. Although I loved how thin their crust was, the ends were dry, tough, and bland like cardboard. They could use some work on the crust to make it a bit more moist. And I excused the slightly dry chewy chicken as it WAS yesterdays cutlets...he hadn't cooked up any fresh chicken yet. Overall I was very pleased with my experience here. The staff was friendly, the pizza was tasty, and the ingredients are fresh. I saw the guy slicing up fresh mushrooms and veggies for that day's pizzas, how much fresher does it get??

Best price. Best pizza at the beach. And every slice is $3. Their buffalo is the best.

Easily the best pizza in OOB. There are so many options for pizza in this town but this place stands out not only because of the options for different types of pizza but because of the friendly owner who makes visiting fun. They also take credit cards which is not the case for many of the other pizza stands. The owner is originally from Rome and makes authentic, thin crust pizza. Delish!

Best slice I've found in OOB yet. Has a few seats inside, or benches outside - a far cry better than the other places down closer to the pier. The crust is fantastic - if you like a nice think crust.

Excellent pizza in new location for Roma--downtown Portland,Maine. They're on 10 Exchange St. (left side, toward the back--you can see it from the street but must walk inside to access) Seek this new little spot out. Luca is so accommodating; the crust and the sauce are great--true Italian pizza. You won't be disappointed.
